Suffern Lane and Hammond Road Improvements
Rockland County, New York
Creighton Manning provided design and construction inspection services for safety and mobility improvements to two intersections on Suffern Lane near a local high school. The $6 million project reconstructed the intersections at Thiells-Mount Ivy Road and Hammond Road into a modern roundabout, improving traffic flow, reducing congestion, and enhancing pedestrian safety. The project incorporated new sidewalks, crosswalks, lighting, retaining wall and full-depth roadway reconstruction to create a safer, more efficient corridor for all users. The design adhered to the NYSDOT Highway Design Manual.
