This $2.8 million project is part of the Albany Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) and included streetscape and pedestrian safety improvements along Clinton Avenue from Broadway to North Hawk Street. Clinton Square was revitalized as a gateway district connecting Downtown and the Warehouse District with Arbor Hill and Sheridan Hollow neighborhoods. Improvements included milling and paving, sidewalks, bike lanes, pedestrian traffic signals, gateway features, lighting, streetscape enhancements, ADA-compliant curb ramps, and enhanced crosswalks.
