The Lake Champlain-Lake George Regional Planning Board retained Creighton Manning to prepare two comprehensive safety action plans to reduce roadway fatalities and serious injuries in the Lake Champlain-Lake George area. A federal Safe Streets and Roads for All grant funded two Safety Action plans: North Country (Clinton, Essex, and Hamilton Counties) and the Adirondack Gateway (Warren County, Washington County, Village of South Glens Falls, and Town of Moreau). The studies included crash trend analysis, existing conditions assessment, identification of safety concerns, development of implementable improvement projects and policies, and robust public engagement with a detailed equity assessment to focus on underserved communities.
