County Route 9 (Bridge E-5) over Sylvan Lake Outlet

Creighton Manning provided survey, hydraulic analysis, preliminary and final design, and construction inspection services for this bridge replacement project. The project involved the lining of an existing 35 ft. single span precast box beam structure with a structural steel plate arch and filling the annular space with cellular concrete. The bridge was open to traffic during construction with shoulder closures as part of the work zone traffic control plan. The firm was also responsible for an initial bridge assessment to establish criteria for rehabilitating or replacing the structure.
