Village of Garden City, Nassau County, New York

This study addressed concerns about speeding, cut-through traffic, and unsafe driving behavior within specific neighborhoods throughout the Village. The study developed a Traffic Calming Master Plan to guide implementation of treatments and explore policies and programs to enhance street safety for all users.

  • Conceptual designs for over 20 locations with planning-level cost estimates
  • Recommendations for short-term pilot projects and long-term policy initiatives
